FORS GOLD

FORS Gold requirements primarily involve best practice measures, including you promoting the FORS Standard through your supply chain and demonstrating meaningful improvements against the baseline data gathered in FORS Silver.

FORS SILVER

Silver accreditation confirms that you employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation your fleet will be compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).

FORS BRONZE

Bronze accreditation confirms that you employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.

 
Halls Electrical Direct Vision

DIRECT VISION

The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and safety permit for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) requires all lorries over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight to be granted a permit to enter or operate in Greater London. The scheme was created to improve the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.

We employ over 50 fully skilled auto electricians (rare these days) not a team of “fitters”. All our skilled Technicians hold NVQ and City Guilds in auto electrics + various other qualifications.  Due to having a large in house team we offer a maximum response time for new works or even warranty works of a maximum of 24 hours and can usually respond the same day.

We fit a wide range of HGV safety products from something as simple as a beacon or reversing alarm to a fully FORS, CLOCS or Direct Vision compliant vehicle including a full camera and DVR system with beacons warning lights, cycle side scan, white noise reverse alarm and more…

We are trusted by the Police, Ambulance, Fire and MOD and have safeguarding various emergency service fleets for over 30 years, this is one of the many reasons blue chip HGV operators such as Sainsburys and Tesco trust and use Hall’s.

We deal with all market leading brands and are one of the preferred suppliers of Brigade Electronics (market leader in commercial vehicle safety products) and have been for over 25 years! 

Hall’s mobile auto electricians are national and fully trained in customer care. We attend site in a professional manner that is to say our technicians attend in uniform, modern fully kitted out mobile workshop, with all required PPE and health and safety documents. To operate this large team we have support staff based at all of our fully gated and secure sites in Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and Exeter.
